We stand behind every device we sell. If something is genuinely wrong, we will make it right β€” within the terms set out below.

7-Day Window

All fault claims must be raised within 7 days of delivery β€” no exceptions.

Return to Lagos

The device must be physically returned to our Lagos collection address before any refund is approved.

5–7 Business Days

Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.

Bottom line: Our warranty is a 7-day window from the date of delivery. To receive a refund, the device must be physically returned to our specified address in Lagos and pass inspection. No device return = no refund.

How to Initiate a Return

Follow these steps in order. Do not return a device without first receiving written confirmation from us β€” unannounced returns cannot be processed.

Contact Us Within 7 Days

Email accounts@9jachinko.com with your order reference, a clear description of the fault, and photos or a short video showing the issue. We respond within 24 hours on business days.

Return Approved & Confirmed

If your claim is valid under our policy, we will email you a return confirmation and packaging instructions. Do not send the device before receiving this written confirmation.

Ship the Device to Lagos

Package the device securely and send it to our Lagos address via a traceable courier. The device must arrive in the same condition as when it was delivered to you. The cost of return shipping is borne by the buyer.

Inspection & Decision

Once received, our team inspects the device within 1–2 business days. If the fault is confirmed, we will offer a full refund or replacement at our discretion.

Refund Processed

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method (Paystack) within 5–7 business days from the date of inspection completion.

What Is Covered

A return qualifies for a refund or replacement only if the issue is a pre-existing fault that was not disclosed in the product listing. Covered scenarios include:

Device does not power on upon delivery

Device received is a different model or colour to what was listed

Screen is cracked or damaged in a way not disclosed in the listing

Key features (camera, speaker, charging port) are non-functional and were not disclosed

Device has an unresolvable software lock (e.g. iCloud/Google account lock)

What Is Not Covered

The following situations do not qualify for a return or refund:

Change of mind or buyer's remorse

Physical damage caused by the buyer after delivery

Water or liquid damage occurring after delivery

Software problems resulting from user actions (factory resets, updates, incorrect downloads)

Minor cosmetic wear consistent with the listed condition grade

Issues raised after the 7-day window has closed

Important: Please read the full product listing, condition grade, and our Condition Guide carefully before purchasing. Condition-related characteristics that are consistent with the listed grade are not considered faults.

The Lagos Return Requirement

All devices being returned for a refund or replacement must be physically delivered to our registered Lagos address. This is a firm requirement β€” we cannot process refunds for devices that have not been returned and inspected.

  • Do not ship the device before receiving written confirmation from us. Unannounced returns cannot be processed.
  • Use a traceable courier service and keep your tracking number. We are not responsible for devices lost in transit to us.
  • Return shipping costs are borne by the buyer.
  • The device must be returned in the same condition as delivered β€” with any accessories, boxes, or items that were included in the original package.

Once we receive the device, inspection takes 1–2 business days. We will notify you by email of the outcome. If approved, the refund is initiated within 5–7 business days.

Refund Amount

Approved refunds are issued for the full purchase price of the device. Delivery fees are non-refundable. Refunds are credited to the original payment method (Paystack) and may take an additional 3–5 business days to appear in your account depending on your bank.

Replacements

Where stock allows, we may offer a replacement device of the same model and condition grade instead of a refund. If you prefer a refund over a replacement, please state this clearly when initiating your return request.

Fraudulent claims: Attempting to return a different device, deliberately damaging a device to claim a refund, or making a false fault claim is fraud. We reserve the right to reject such claims, retain the returned device, and take legal action where appropriate.
