1. Who We Are
9JaChinko is a Nigerian marketplace for quality pre-owned phones, tablets, and laptops. We source, inspect, grade, and sell devices directly to buyers across all 36 states of Nigeria.
We are not a manufacturer, authorised reseller, or warranty service centre for any brand. All devices listed on our platform are pre-owned (also known as used, refurbished, or second-hand) unless explicitly stated otherwise.
2. Nature of Products
All devices sold by 9JaChinko are pre-owned. While we carry out rigorous inspection and grading of every item before listing, buyers should understand the following:
- Pre-owned devices may show minor signs of previous use (micro-scratches, slight wear) consistent with their listed condition grade.
- Battery health is disclosed wherever available. Batteries in pre-owned devices have natural degradation and are not covered under any manufacturer warranty.
- Original packaging and accessories (chargers, earphones) are included only when specifically stated in the product listing.
- Software is reset to factory defaults before every sale. No personal data from previous owners is retained.

3. Pricing & Payment
All prices displayed on 9JaChinko are in Nigerian Naira (₦) and are inclusive of applicable fees. Prices are set by 9JaChinko and are non-negotiable on the platform.
- Payment is processed securely through Paystack. We do not store your card details at any point.
- Your order is only confirmed once payment is verified by Paystack and an order confirmation email is sent to you.
- In the rare event of a payment error where funds are debited but no order is confirmed, contact us immediately at support@9jachinko.com with your transaction reference.
- Prices may change without notice. The price at the time you complete payment is final.
4. Delivery
We are based abroad and ship to all 36 states of Nigeria. Orders are dispatched every Saturday and typically arrive within 7–10 days from the dispatch date. Full details are on our Delivery Info page.
Delivery charges (if applicable) are communicated before payment is completed. We are not responsible for delays caused by courier partners, customs, natural disasters, or circumstances outside our control.
5. Returns, Refunds & Warranty
We offer a 7-day warranty window from the date of delivery. If a genuine pre-existing fault — one that was not disclosed in the product listing — becomes apparent within this window, we will arrange a repair, replacement, or full refund.
To qualify, the device must be physically returned to our specified address in Lagos and pass inspection. We do not accept returns for change of mind, buyer-caused damage, or issues raised after the 7-day window.

6. Accuracy of Listings
We make every effort to ensure product listings — including images, specifications, condition grades, and descriptions — are accurate. However:
- Photos show the actual device or a representative example of the same model and condition.
- Slight colour variation may occur due to screen calibration differences.
- Specifications listed are sourced from the manufacturer's published data and may not reflect modifications made by previous owners.
7. Affiliate Programme
9JaChinko operates an affiliate referral programme. Affiliates earn 5% commission on the value of each successful sale made through their unique referral link. Commissions are held for 28 days to allow for the return window before becoming eligible for payout. Full terms are available on the Affiliate page.
8. Limitation of Liability
9JaChinko shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products beyond the purchase price paid. Our maximum liability in any dispute is limited to the amount paid for the specific product in question.
9. Privacy
Your personal information (name, email, phone, address) is collected solely to process your order and deliver your device. We do not sell, share, or rent your data to third parties. Order data is stored securely in our database. By making a purchase, you consent to receiving a confirmation email and, where applicable, delivery updates.

10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes will be resolved through mutual negotiation in the first instance. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
